Having a little problemette...
I have installed u-boot on my LS2 but if fails to find 0:1 boot/vmlinuz says its no a valid EFT image or some such. I followed the instructions in Impatient uboot install
or so I thought but I probably screwed it. I obviously dont have direct access to the LS other than through netcat and the u-boot console. what do I need to do to get this booting from a valid Linux kernel.
From what I read on u-boot I should be able to load the image from the file-system, I unpacked it to /mnt/hda/temp or alternatively from a network resourse via TFTP. Can anyone give me instructions on how I might get a kernel image to boot so I can then fix the rest
I will try to connect again tonight and get some more info visa-a-vie file mounts etc via ext2ls. will update this post then.
OK Edit ====================
Right schoolboy error.... I created the boot directory on ide 0:3 not ide 0:1 therefor the vmlinuz image is in the wrong place.
How can I boot from that image?
