My linkstation has been off for some years now. But I would like to put it back in service.

I have been looking a litle in the forum but most post I find is from 2007.

There is Openlink installed (I think) but an atp-get up date do nor give much. So I think it is realy outdated.

If still posible I would like to update the box to something more new.

I need NFS /Samba
Php /Apache
I would like if it can run deb packeing system.

Looking for your replyes.

What you need to do is:
1. Update your bootloader as u-boot. ( You can find the thread under kernel development in this forum)
2. Install debian and update the kernel, latest kernel is (Lenny or Squeeze all work fine on LS2)
3. You can use apt-get to install what ever you want.

Read the forum and you will get all those information.
