Post subject:  HS-DHTGL R5 - Upgrading

I am a little baffled with how to upgrade this, as I am not sure if the guides on here apply for this device.

What I am trying to do is take out my existing 4x 250GB drives and put in 4x 1TB drives

Raid Parity, and then install sanzbd on the buffalo so that I can use it for downloading from newzgroups.

If anyone can explain step by step how to do this, and which firmware I need to use to support the larger drives and how to install.

I am not new to telnet or ssh, not linux commands but would like a little guidance.

This is what I have read so far... viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4351

Thanks.

i want to flash the firmware so that i can sabnzbd onto it, but i have data on there already about 350gb worth, will flashing the firmware possible erase the data?

thanks
