I have a Linkstation Live that I would like to access while away from home and show my parents our home videos of the kids. I know I can use their www.buffalonas.com feature but that downloads most of the movie before it plays it. I would like something were you can just select the video and it starts to play pretty much instantly just like at home. I have a static ip for my home network and the NAS also has a static ip. Is there a way to maybe create a mapped network drive to the NAS on my computer, a mapped network drive that works while I am away from home? Maybe a media player software that works with files that are stored on a NAS and can be accessed while away from home? Any ideas?
