How do you enable telnet on an LS Pro running Debian (Freelink)?

Is something wrong with ssh? There's a few hoops to jump through to enable telnet in Freelink.

Edit /etc/inetd.conf and enable telnet, then run /etc/init.d/openbsd-inetd start

But it still won't let you log in as root...?
Edit /etc/pam.d/login and insert a '#' symbol at the beginning of the line that uses pam_securetty.so

To get telnet you can just hold in the reset button at the rear once the box has powered up, some 2 mins in.

That worked perfectly. Thanks.

I followed lb_worms of pressing reset but now can't get ssh access. I do have freelink installed, but i don't think it's in EM mode, since i can't ping it at 192.168.11.150.
