I have documented a process to install Debian/Ubuntu on the Buffalo LinkStation Mini and posted wiki pages here...
http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/LS_ ... all_Debian
http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/LS_ ... all_Ubuntu

At LaitrKeows points out, the process is too complicated, per this message...
viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13461&p=136399#p136399

I can greatly simplify the process by uploading some compressed Debian/Ubuntu archives to share with the community.

The files will be comparable in size and content to the Gentoo archive stored here...
http://downloads.buffalo.nas-central.or ... ink/Rootfs

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

-=Bob

Ask one of the admins (nicely) via PM.

If there is no verified backup of a dataset, the dataset, by definition, is unimportant. (c't 2012)

RAID (no matter which level) never ever substitutes a backup. (me)

I attempted to send a private message to lb_worm, but the message is just sitting in my outbox. Do I need to do anything else?

"Use" one of the admins who was active within the last weeks.
I have not read anything from lb_worm in the last weeks.

For those who don't know, upload privileges must be requested in the Downloads section of the NAS-Central BugTracker...

http://bugtracker.nas-central.org

Project: Sites and Services --> Downloads

Here is the issue I submitted...
