I have a media streamer called Popcorn Hour. I can get the Twonky on my StevieWonder Firmware LS Live to send movies out to the Popcorn Hour. However Twonky only delivers the media files and can't send the accessory subtitle files. This means many movies I can't watch due to no subtitles.

Popcorn hour needs a NFS server or Samba.

I was wondering if the Optware packages would let the LS LIVE act as a NFS server? Also for Samba there are 3 types. Which is the right one to use?

Any help?

I have got http://www.swisscenter.co.uk/ working on freelink. And that has great support for popcorn hours.
