Hi,

thanks to the excellent instructions on http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.ph ... k_for_ARM9 i managed to install Gentoo on
my LSLive Box (nearly) without problems.

There are still two issues I am not able to fix the "Unknown HZ value!" and the Uptime:

Linux armv5tejl 2.6.22 (compiled #1 Wed Sep 26 07:58:03 CEST 2007)

Processor : ARM926EJ-S rev 0 (v5l)
BogoMIPS : 266.24
Unknown HZ value! (0) Assume 100.
RAM : 123 MB
Unknown HZ value! (0) Assume 100.
Swap : 784 MB
Unknown HZ value! (0) Assume 100.
Uptime : 21:20:31 up 14194 days, 21:20, 4 users, load average: 1.4
Logged on as : root on /dev/pts/4 since Tue Nov 11 21:20:31 CET 2008

Also I would like to install a new kernel with native Marvell Orion support, following the guide at http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.ph ... ernel_Port with native compilation, but horribly failed.
About three minutes after PowerOn the Error LED blinked 4(?) times and the box beeped. No telnet, ssh nor tftp possible.
Fixed with disassembling and connecting the drive via USB to my notebook to restore the old kernel.
Has anyone a working .config for the actual kernel (2.6.27) and LSLive?
Are new modules necessary?

thanks for any help and regards,
Matthias
