Don't know if I'm in the right forum?

I have formated /dev/sda2 to ext3 and was thinking of changing /dev/sda6 from xfs to ext3 or jfs.
And i want to combine this with Japanese firmware 1.20

I fond this thread/post viewtopic.php?p=107566#p107566

I want to edit initrd but i cant mount it , how do i do it.

Also is there a "simple" way to get jfs to work.

Now I'm looking at compile my own kernel with jfs support (and maybe nfs server).
