now - in the first time i'd my linkstation pro duo, I'd done a lot of with it but then it runs what I need for the time and all was good. Yet the harddisks made problems and I decide to change both harddisk with "green" ones and also to install a new distribution version (debian lenny). Here I was stopped, because a newer kernel then the buffalo one is required for using the new features.
I know - for more than 1 year, as i tried the orion development kernel, the duo boots but the gpio features for controlling the fan and leds are not working.
Has there something changed? Is this one -> http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.ph ... ldid=14667
the current one? Is there maybe an way, get the stock kernel working?
So far possible, I could preparing stock kernel for duo because I'd serial access on my box.
