Hey all, hopefully someone can help me here,
got a ts pro v1, came with 2 x 250gb which i removed and replaced with 4 x 1tb, following the instructions in the forum regarding that procedure. once done, all was going well, took a day for array 1 to resync and then another 15 hours for array 2. when array 2 finished resyncing, it vanished from the web gui, yet the shares i created on array 2(shared folders) were still accessable and visible on the network.
at this point i think the firmware was 1.12
so, its now in permanent EM mode, with no firmware version.
inserted new blank drives, no partitions on them.
first error, (which happens regardless of what hard drives are connected to the demented unit)
"it failed in the execution of the script. :0x100 script: md0_format"
then it will say after clicking ok to that, there is a error in the firmware partition, do you want to format it?
then the error "failed to format, script create_raid"
so i suspect the steps i have manually done in creating the partitions and the raid arrays have not been correct and are stuffing things up. any ideas on how i can get this thing back to life...
thanks

So if anyone out there knows how to get these things back to "vanilla stock standard" state please let me know, i have wasted enough time on this unit with firmware update after update which all end in the same way.
might get keen in a while and look at jtag stuff, certainly looks like the linux firmware is, well, rooted....
