Don't use nfs, .... Always been slow though.. about 60mins to write a 700MB film to it.

I get any were between about 3-6MB/sec on the LS2, using NFS. As these units have a mipsel (which may be more suited to routers than to NAS) this is not surprising. Still very usable for some applications such as music streaming, print servers, low-bandwidth NAS devices.
I am working now on that 18.104.22.168 kernel + module package. I will look into getting headers packaged, as well. I will post back when all is packaged and ready.
