Mostly due to the lack of time, but also due to the decreasing number of PPC boxes, the fact Sylver is out, and I don't even use the latest kernel myself (I'm on variant-nfs), have made me think things over during my vacation.

My line of kernel builds, starting IIRC with 2.6.15, will end with kernel 2.6.25.13/v111 -- now. Security fixes to the Debian etch kernel (variant-nfs) will be available.

I would like to thank everyone for their trust, help, cooperation, donations, and their patience, as not everything went as smooth as I like it.

Thank you!

I agree w/ the previous posters.

The 2.6 kernels that andre rolled the past few years effectively reinvented the LS1 and LSHG. The gain in functionality through the freshest kernels possible, plus the incredible variety of modules a really big step forward. This wouldn't have been possible without andre's dedication, and his service to the community has been professional and top notch.

Thanks, andre. (I actually picked up an LS1 just yesterday (my first one!) and am about ready to dump UBoot and one of your kernels + FreeLink into it.)

your webinstaller and your kernel compilation service was IMHO the most important thing for the ppc LS/Kuro-community, it changed everything.

great work andre.
