Linux 2.6/PPC kernels for Linkstation/KuroBox/HG/HS are available from http://hvkls.dyndns.org/. See the Changelog for details (MSIE > 5.5 is problematic).

PLEASE use the webinstaller to download or install the kernel package, including its variants. Anyone violating the server policy risks to be denied service, if necessary permanently. Thanks for your cooperation!

uboot .dtb files fixed (the format has changed with 2.6.25)

Do you have any idea why iptables forward doesn't work anymore when I upgraded the kernel the most recent versions? I was using your kernel downloaded last year and every thing worked fine. It's been a while so decided to upgrade the kernel but ....

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 3389 -s ! 192.168.0.0/24 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.0.8:3389

Can you enable CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_LOCAL when you compile the new kernel? I did some research and found CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_LOCAL need to be enabled for DNAT to work.

http://www.shorewall.net/kernel.htm

My iptables is the most current version, and I'm sure it's something inside the kernel because it was working fine until I upgraded the the kernel to the recent versions.

CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_LOCAL is not a valid option for 2.6 (me thinks), at least not for 2.6.25.

If you were so kind as to tell me what exactly v102 is missing, I will surely enable it. The minimal configuration option (2nd link, bottom of page) seem to be enabled, or have I overlooked something?

I did search on CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_LOCAL and many of the DNAT problem is related to NAT of local connections has not been set in kernel.

Is there a "NAT of local connections" option in Kernel 2.6.25.4?

Please tell me what you want me to enable that is not enabled. I'm currently very busy and don't have much time to look into that myself, sorry :(

I don't have kernel compiling experience. I thought it was just adding a line "CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_LOCAL =y" to the configuration file since other people had same problem without that in the older version of kernel  .

It gets discarded as soon as you run "make oldconfig". What you need to do is to compare the lines in my .config to the 2.6.20+ section in the second document, some sort of a manual diff operation -- quite a few lines to compare...
