Don't suppose anyone's compiled a kernel with CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED not set ??

Trying to upgrade Squeeze...

Code:
Preparing to replace udev 149-2 (using .../udev_150-2_powerpc.deb) ...
Since release 150, udev requires that support for the CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED
feature is disabled in the running kernel.

Please upgrade your kernel before or while upgrading udev.

AT YOUR OWN RISK, you can force the installation of this version of udev
WHICH DOES NOT WORK WITH YOUR RUNNING KERNEL AND WILL BREAK YOUR SYSTEM
AT THE NEXT REBOOT by creating the /etc/udev/kernel-upgrade file.
There is always a safer way to upgrade, do not try this unless you
understand what you are doing!

I've got such a kernel. Drawback: uboot; not sure whether I forgot to apply the melfs patch. Does that matter?

deathrattle, I got bored and built one last week, should have posted back  . It's in my user bit if its any use to anyone. I hope that and the modules are packaged correctly, but not much clue as to the headers :?

It's for uboot, I just used the mainline patch

Okidoki .

The kernel I build last night works, too.
That was easy!

I used the defconfig file from the vanilla/gentoo-sources and did not apply any patch.

Any security issue I can run in with my self-made kernel?
