Linux 2.6/PPC kernels for Linkstation/KuroBox/HG/HS are available from http://hvkls.dyndns.org/. See the Changelog for details (MSIE > 5.5 is problematic).

PLEASE use the webinstaller to download or install the kernel package, including its variants. Anyone violating the server policy risks to be denied service, if necessary permanently. Thanks for your cooperation!

The final security update to the "latest" kernel, discontinued for real.

Hello Andre!

I used the webinstaller to upgrade to the latest kernel (some included drivers!).

You wrote in the last reply that nfs kernel support is now active in every newer kernel than 2.6.18.

Yesterday I tried to mount from my dbox the Buffalo share with r/wsize = 32768, but the
output of mount displayed only r/wsize of 8192. I used the nfsvers=3 option on the
dbox side so normaly this should be working.

Can you tell me if I have to activate anything else in order to get the 32768-sizes?

Best regards Josef

You can't, to my best knowledge, which is why variant-nfs exists.

Hello Andre!

Is it not possible to recompile the 2.6.25 kernel with nfs-support ?

Best regards

Josef
