i currently do not have an LS2.
and no, only mipsel-versions exist.
actually i do not know any mips-based NAS. mips is mostly used for routers i think.
but the available binaries from my old binary-page (from the time before this wiki) here let me suggest that it was possible to compile static versions.
and yes, turkish used the native compiler on the LS2.http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0025690/LS2_mips.html
i actually never had an LS2 for testing. i still hope to get one for me via ebay.
what exactly is the problem you have with ocaml?
i had problems in the past that the automatic compiling of ocaml while compiling mldonkey did work, but the ocaml stuff wasn`t found by the script when trying to compile mldonkey.
i always had to compile ocaml manually before compiling mldonkey. thats for the ppc boxes though...maybe this is useless info for the mipsel-LS2
LS1 (2.6 kernel, foonas svn1062, 750 GB, UBoot 1.2) & LS Pro (FreeLink/jtymod/GenLink, changes all the time)Thx to all donators!
