you might already know the problem - now I'm looking for a way to use the integer based ogg decoding (libivorbis, "tremor") in Lenny. The good new is, that the package is already available:
Package: libvorbisidec1
New: yes
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 1.0.2+svn14261-1
Priority: extra
Section: libs
Maintainer: Daniel Kahn Gillmor <dkg-debian.org@fifthhorseman.net>
Uncompressed Size: 201k
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.7-1)
Description: Integer-only Ogg Vorbis decoder, AKA "tremor"
 libvorbisidec is an Ogg Vorbis audio decoder (also known as "tremor"), implemented with no floating point arithmetic.  This makes it particularly amenable
 to use on systems which lack floating point hardware.

But the mt-daapd package uses ffmpeg for all transcodings, which comes with its own (non-tremor-based) implementation.

Has anyone a nice solution for this issue?
