it should be possible now to post at the LS2 (mips)-forum. but this thread is more a software related anyway.
it depends which distribution you are running on your LS2.
if it is openlink, then murasaki
takes care about that.

this is general info:
/etc/murasaki/bin/mount_sd.sh is the mount-script of the Hdds...
there you see the path where the hdds are mounted on the top.
there is also a way to add a second usb-hdd if you comment and uncomment the right lines....see this article
it will change a bit in the future openlink versions as it is a bit restrictive....
i already got some hints how i can make it better.
at the moment usbdevices are automatically mounted at /mnt2/usbdisk1 (LS1, HG) or /mnt/usbdisk1 (LS2..i am not exactly sure as i have no LS2)
LS1 (2.6 kernel, foonas svn1062, 750 GB, UBoot 1.2) & LS Pro (FreeLink/jtymod/GenLink, changes all the time)Thx to all donators!
