Hi people. Bit busy so i'll be brief! Finished posting initial information about the competition you can find these details here:

http://www.nas-central.org/events

The third prize arrived at my workplace today. The lacie is on pre-order, and we still need funding for the Zyxel, which we will easily be able to fund by the time the competition is completed - donations are good though to help us with this:

http://www.nas-central.org/donations

There are a few things unaccounted for - the competition finish date and the judging method. These will follow soon, but the competition will most likely run for 3-4 months to give people time.

Thanks and good luck everyone :)

Edit: Event over, see results here

Splendid job on the pages for this, timtimred. Looks good, looks inviting. It looks like ramuk has made a nice entry ... time to get creativity going for myself as well. :geek:

A reminder that you all have less than a month to get competition entries in! Thanks to Mindbender who has confirmed some time ago that he will be helping in the judging of the competition. I will order the NSA-220 over the next two weeks so all the prizes are here for the judging!

For some reason I thought in my head the deadline was the 16th!

I will start talking to the other judges as we need a week or two to complete the judging. I have two personal clear favorites at this time but won't say too much more - cheers!

Who is doing the judging? I'd like to offer up a bribe. ;)

Just found the list of judges. I guess I'm one of them. I guess I should delete that last post.

Really, it was just a joke.

I would hope that a wise hacker with the richness of their experiences would reach wise decisions.

Well, my votes are in, so you can stop sending money.
Seriously, I'm still joking.
